Mark Bennett Investment Officer


Mark Bennett is Co-Founder, CEO, and Chief Investment Officer for Endowment Research Group. He is Chair of the firm’s Investment Committee. He is responsible for setting direction of the firm, cultivating strategic partnerships, sourcing investment opportunities, and building exceptional portfolios for ultra-high net worth individuals and family offices.

Mr. Bennett specializes in seeking out and selecting top ten percent fund managers across a range of asset allocation strategies to balance growth, risk, and cash flows.

He co-manages multi-asset class endowment-style portfolios to allow significantly higher degrees of flexibility to opportunistically invest across asset classes, including stocks, credit, hedge funds, leveraged buyouts, growth equity, venture capital, real estate investment trusts, business development companies, distressed credit, infrastructure, oil & gas, commodities, farmland, and timber.
In other roles, Mr. Bennett runs the long-only Alpha Generation portfolio, which has produced top 1% performance among all institutional investors in consecutive years in 2017 and 2018. He is a Director of a top quartile Venture Capital fund. He sits on the Advisory Board of a top quartile Private Debt fund. Years earlier, out of graduate school, he made a private later-stage software investment that has achieved a twenty-five fold increase in valuation and a compounded annual growth rate of over 40%. He also serves on the board of directors of several other privately-owned businesses.

Mr. Bennett is frequently invited to be a speaker at industry investment conferences and family office events. He is a member of the Palm Beach Hedge Fund Association and the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) in New York. 

Mr. Bennett earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated with honors. He holds a master‘s degree from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School, where he graduated with honors.
